JERUSALEM: (Christian Times) – Zionist Christian Church (ZCC) is considered one of the major Christian movements in South Africa. According to international media, Bishop Dr Barnabas Lekganyane, leader of the movement, visited Israel recently and met some high level officials there. He has visited Israel in the past as well but it is his first visit with a delegation to the Middle-Eastern country.
Explaining the details of the visit, ZCC spokesperson Reverend Emmanuel Motollo said that the basic reason behind the visit was to recreate the link between the church and our historical heritage and nurturing of this relationship.
He added that the delegation on the visit to the holy land spent most of its time praying as they believed that praying at such a spiritual place would be a perfect way to obtain the blessings of God.
It is pertinent to mention here that ZCC is the one of the biggest Christian movements in South Africa and the total membership of this group has reached around 15 million.
The visit was arranged by South African Friends of Israel and it is scheduled to stay in the country till the coming Sunday.
