QUETTA: (Christian Times) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leaders on Friday visited the Methodist Church in Quetta which was attacked by Islamic State (IS) earlier this week.

PPP leader Sherry Rehman said on the occasion that minorities and majorities enjoyed the same rights in Pakistan. She saluted the Christians for their tolerance and firm belief despite such a huge loss.

The church was visited by Sherry Rehman, Senator Farhatullah Babar, Nayyar Bukhari and the provincial president Ali Madad Jatak.

Talking to media on this occasion, Nayyar Bukhari said that the attack on the church was highly condemnable. He said that the PPP delegation had come to Quetta to express solidarity with the victims of Methodist church tragedy.

Rehman said that this incident was extremely tragic on the occasion of Christmas.
