Asif Ali Zardari PPP-Parliamentarians President; on Thursday suggested that while “he cannot say whether a National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) agreement has been crashed between Prime Minister Imran Khan and the PML-N, an NRO deal has absolutely been grasped between the federal Government and the maulvis”.

The prior president made these comments while talking to media councils in Khairpur; denoting to the recently elected PTI Government which according to him “is still in its early stages,” Zardari said. As “An under-fourteen team is playing and it still remnants to be seen what happens and what doesn’t”.

He further appealed that “same like the Nawaz Government had come into power after striking a deal (with the powers that be) so has Imran Khan“.

Zardari was of the view that the PTI’s Government attitude in the assembly was still that of the opposition; and said that in his dialogue on the floor of the house; he had even advised the Government to play its vital role and leave hostility politics to them, but nothing makes any difference to them.”

Being repentant the current state of affairs in Sindh, he said if the federal Government would only issue funds for the province, there would be no discontinuing the development and prosperity of the area.

Zardari said the alliance only does things for its own advantage, adding that the Government “better change its way and help the people of Sindh“.

He also appraised the Government forthcoming the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for support, saying the people were already intensely immersed in increase and instead of providing reprieve; the Government was only assaulting them with further expenses.

The past president stated that his party also had matters with the previous Sharif’s Government but “persisted silent for the sake of democracy because the people’s party has given disadvantages for democracy”.

The Sindh Government was devoted to serving the people of Thar and was working towards the establishment of their every basic need, he claimed.
